Research Interest:    Research experiences: Climate change adaptation through Aquaponics fish, vegetable production, and Black Soldier Fly Larvae rearing for fish feed and sprouted wheat for human health-promoting and animal fodder, mangrove aquaculture, mariculture, and coastal aquaculture, GIS modeling for suitable site selection and RS image interpretation for land use change detection. In-Country Research: Supervised quite a good number of MS (195+35) researchers and pioneer of Aquaponics fish and vegetable production, GIS modeling for site selection, remote sensing image classification, land-use change detection, and monitoring; working as a visiting Professor at Moulana Vashani Science and Technology University, Tangail. Outside Country Research:  Recognized tutor on the web-based distance learning MSc program run jointly by the Institute of Aquaculture, University of Stirling, Scotland, UK, and Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh, funded by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission Consultancy Services Worked as a fisheries consultant for “MIDTERM REVIEW” in the Regional Fisheries and Livestock Development Component (RFLDC) in Barisal and Noakhali region a DANIDA-funded Agricultural Sector Programme Support in Bangladesh. Worked as a fisheries consultant for “SUB-REGIONAL STUDY ON FISHERIES AND ENVIRONMENT” in the polder area of Khulna with the supervision of Integrated Planning for Sustainable Water Management (IPSWAM) under the Ministry of Water Resources and funded by the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands from September 2007 to February 2008. Worked as a fisheries consultant for “IMPACT OF FISH FARMER GROUP THROUGH GREATER NOAKHALI AQUACULTURE EXTENSION PROJECT (GNAEP), DANIDA funded project in Noakhali District, from June 2006 to September 2006.
